Drama "Belajar Mandiri Bersama English Stars" (Independent Study with English Stars)

BELAJAR MANDIRI BERSAMA ENGLISH STARS

Pada suatu malam, pada pekan ketiga pasca Mrs. Imas cuti seperti biasanya English Stars melakukan belajar bersama dengan sistem tutor sebaya. Hal ini dikarenakan sebelum Mrs. Imas cuti, beliau telah mempersiapkan materi yang harus dipelajari bersama. Namun rupanya malam itu hanya beberapa orang yang sudah siap di dalam kelas. Malam itu, Dilla terlambat 5 menit.

Dilla    :  “Assalamu’alaikum, maaf teman-teman saya terlambat karena perkuliahan baru selesai.” (sambil bersalaman dengan English Stars yang sudah hadir)

Kiky    :  “Iya, nggak papa, Mbak Dilla.”

Rima   :  “Langsung dimulai aja yuk...”

Ana     :  “Iya, aku udah datang dari tadi nih, capek nungguinnya.”

Dini     :  “Biar cepat pulang...”

Kiky    :  “Belum apa-apa kok pulang sih?”

Ana     :  “Nggak papa, bener, kasihan kan yang rumahnya jauh.”

Dilla    ;  “Hello... kok jadi ribut. Ayo, mohon perhatiannya, berdoa mulai”

(semuanya berdoa dalam hati)

Dilla    :  “Amin...” (sambil mengusapkan kedua tangan ke wajah)

Dilla    :  “Okey teman-teman, sebelum kita mulai, ada beberapa informasi yang perlu saya sampaikan.” (menghela napas)

Dini     :  “Info apaan nich?”

Rima   :  “Makanya didengarkan dulu dong...”

Dini     :  “Iya iya, kok jadi kamu yang sewot sih?”

Dilla    :  “Hello... Okey, ini ada pesan dari Bu Imas bahwa kita harus mempersiapkan diri untuk berdialog dengan Mark.”

Ana     :  “Bule ya? Asyik dong...”

Kiky    :  “Kapan, Mbak?” (bersemangat)

Dilla    :  “Dalam waktu dekat ini, yang pasti kita diminta untuk mempersiapkan pertanyaan.”

Dini     :  “Pertanyaan buat siapa? Lha Mrs Imasnya ikut sama kita nggak?”

Rima   :  “Buat Mark lah, masa buat kamu.”

Dini     :  “Yee... kan Cuma nanya wkwkwk.”

Kiky    :  “Kalau kita udah buat terus diapain? Kan Mrs Imasnya lagi cuti. Kita ke rumahnya gitu?”

Ana     :  “Ke rumah Mrs Imas? Yang bener, kapan? Mampir ke rumahku ya...”

Dini     :  “Yee... maunya.”

Dilla    :  “Nggak harus ke sana juga kali... Kita kirim lewat email aja, jadwal kuliah kita kan full.”

Rima   :  “Okey, terus malam ini libur aja po?”

Dilla    :  “Lho kok, kenapa begitu?”

Kiky    :  “Barangkali buat nyiapin pertanyaannya, hehe.”

Dilla    :  “Ya buatnya dirumah tha? Yuk kita mulai belajar sekarang, silahkan yang bertugas untuk maju ke depan.” (sambil berjalan menuju tempat duduk).

Ana maju ke depan, kemudian membagikan kertas berisi soal latihan TOEFL.

Ana     :  “Silahkan dikerjakan, waktunya 25 menit dari sekarang.”

Kiky    :  “Aduh... soalnya koq sukar sekali, baru-baru semua. Aku nggak paham ini. Hmmm.”

Dilla    :  “Tenang, kan ada dosennya. Baguskan jadi tambah ilmu baru.”

Dini     :  “Tambah pusing iya, Dil...”

Rima   :  “Berisik, diam dong...”

Dini     :  “Cie ilee, serius banget sih, Rim. Biasa aja dong... lebay....”

Kiky    :  “Mbak Rima udah dapat banyak ni yee...”

Dilla    :  “Ahay.... Hmmm.” (diikuti tawa English Stars)

Ana     :  “Sudah selesai? Langsung kita bahas aja ya...”

Dini     :  “Setuju!”

Kiky    :  “Ha... punyaku belum selesai, Mbak. Masih kurang banyak.”

Rima   :  “Iya, lagi pula waktunya masih ada kan?”

Ana     :  “Kan biar cepat pulang.”

Dilla    :  “Sabar, masih ada waktu 5 menit.”

Dini     :  “Huft...”

Lima menit kemudian.

Ana     :  “Okey, waktu habis. Kita bahas sekarang no. 1. The beautiful woman… from New York. Jawabannya adalah C yaitu comes. Kata kuncinya adalah woman. Subjek tunggal “woman” memerlukan kata kerja tunggal berakhiran “s”. Jadi yang perlu diingat adalah jika subjeknya tunggal, kata kerjanya juga harus berbentuk tunggal.

All       :  “Yee... betul...”

Ana     :  “Selanjutnya no. 40. Nadia wanted to go to theirs house last week, but she did not know how to get there. Jawabannya adalah B. Kata kuncinya adalah house. Disini possesive pronoun “theirs” harus diubah jadi possesive adjective “their”. Jadi yang harus diingat adalah possesive pronoun seperti “mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs” tidak boleh diikuti oleh benda.”

All       :  “Alhamdulillahi robbil ‘alamin.” (Ana kembali ke tempat duduknya)

Dilla maju ke depan kelas

Dini     :  “Ada apa lagi sich, Dil....”

Ana     :  “Iya, dah malem nich, pulang yuk... mendung pula.”

Dilla    :  “Iya iya... ada yang ketinggalan, meeting AE4OS bulan ini akan dilaksanakan pada Selasa, 16 April 2013 pukul 8.00 pm di tempat biasa.”

Rima   :  “Petugasnya siapa saja, Dil?”

Dilla    :  “Ehm, MC Aban, speech Alif dan Rila, Error and recognition Fifi, Drama Aku, Kamu, Kiky, dan Ana, yang lain free.”

Kiky    :  “Dramanya apa nich?”

Dilla    :  “Ada yang punya ide?”

Ana     :  “Dibahas besok lagi aja sih, dah malem.”

Kiky    :  “Diselesaikan dulu tha, jadi nggak jadi beban.”

Dini     :  “Nha sutradaranya siapa? Biar diurus sutradaranya aja...”

Ana     :  “Ya udah terserah yang drama aja. Udah yuk...”

Rima   :  “Yang drama kan kita, jadi harus kita yang memutuskan.”

Dilla    :  “Kiky punya teks drama nggak?”

Kiky    :  “Ada sih, tapi tokohnya banyak.”

Dilla    :  “Ya udah, nanti di gabung-gabungkan saja.”

Ana     :  “Aku pulang dulu ya...”

Dilla    :  “Tunggu sebentar, Ana.”

Ana     :  “Cepetan dong...”

Dilla    :  “Okay, ya udah. Kita pakai itu, nanti aku yang jadi sutradaranya.”

Dini     :  “Ya, bagus dech. Udah kan?”

Dilla    :  “Ya, cukup. Yuk kita berdoa dulu. Berdoa mulai! Amin, sampai jumpa besok teman-teman. Wassalamu’alaikum wr wb.”

All       :  “Wa’alaikumussalam wr wb.”

 

INDEPENDENT STUDY WITH ENGLISH STARS

On one night, on the third week post-Mrs. Imas leave like usual English Stars do study together with the peer tutoring system.
